Knihy, ktor\u00e1 sa &#8211; od svojho vydania v 2021 &#8211; stala ikonickou porovnate\u013ene ako kedysi texty Claudea L\u00e9vi-Straussa. \u010c\u00edtal som p\u00f4vodn\u00fd text a poviem, \u017ee zmenil m\u00f4j poh\u013ead aj na soci\u00e1lne vedy, aj na pr\u00e1cu, ktor\u00e1 ma \u017eiv\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Ak v s\u00falade s nap\u00edsan\u00fdmi recenziami, o\u010dak\u00e1vate obsiahly elabor\u00e1t o archeol\u00f3gii, antropol\u00f3gii a hist\u00f3rii \u013eudstva, ne\u0161\u013eapnete ved\u013ea. No ako pri mnoh\u00fdch in\u00fdch soci\u00e1lne-vedn\u00fdch synt\u00e9zach (\u00e1no, ten text je naozaj synt\u00e9zou poznania soci\u00e1lnych vied o posledn\u00fdch 30-tis\u00edc rokoch \u013eudskej pr\u00edtomnosti na plan\u00e9te), nejde tu len o dokumentovanie hist\u00f3rie \u013eudstva. Alebo len v prvom pl\u00e1ne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">The Dawn of Everything je kniha o predstavivosti. O tom, \u010do je mo\u017en\u00e9, \u010do je v na\u0161ich schopnostiach, ak sa za\u010dneme p\u00fdta\u0165 lep\u0161ie ot\u00e1zky ne\u017e tie, ktor\u00e9 sa osvietenci p\u00fdtali v 16. a 17. storo\u010d\u00ed. Pre\u010do hovor\u00edme o soci\u00e1lnej nerovnosti a ako si predstavujeme rovnos\u0165? \u010co je to sloboda, auton\u00f3mia, v\u00f4\u013ea a predstavivos\u0165? Kto je &#8222;nepo\u0161kvrnen\u00fd primit\u00edv&#8220; alebo &#8222;surov\u00fd divoch&#8220;, \u010do s t\u00fdm m\u00e1 soci\u00e1lna evol\u00facia a pre\u010do spolo\u010densk\u00e9 vedy pou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00fa &#8222;tradi\u010dn\u00e9 spolo\u010dnosti&#8220; ako f\u00e1zu na ceste k t\u00fdm &#8222;modern\u00fdm&#8220;? Sme naozaj tak modern\u00ed, pokrokov\u00ed a cie\u013eavedom\u00ed, ako si predstavujeme? (Mimochodom, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TOHF-OgPlC4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">n\u00e1\u0161 rozhovor o pokroku <\/a>by autorov zrejme celkom pote\u0161il.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Tie ot\u00e1zky, ako Graeber a Wengrow zd\u00f4raz\u0148uj\u00fa, nehovoria ani tak o \u013eu\u010foch, ktor\u00ed \u017eili predt\u00fdm (\u010di storo\u010dia paralelne s t\u00fdm), hovoria o n\u00e1s. O organiz\u00e1cii, hierarchii, syst\u00e9moch myslenia a konania, o brutalite efektivity jednotnej meny, o kolonializme, \u00fatlaku, moci vl\u00e1dcov, skr\u00fdvan\u00ed poznania a o technol\u00f3gii, ktor\u00e1 n\u00e1s doviedla na sam\u00fa hranicu na\u0161ej vlastnej predstavivosti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-heading\">Nepopul\u00e1rna hist\u00f3ria \u013eudstva<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Ke\u010f sa p\u00ed\u0161e popul\u00e1rna hist\u00f3ria, od Fukuyamu po Harariho a kdeko\u013evek medzi, p\u00ed\u0161e sa o predmodern\u00fdch spolo\u010dnostiach, o po\u013enohospod\u00e1rskej revol\u00facii, o prechode od primit\u00edvnych lovcov a zbera\u010dov k organizovanej mase farm\u00e1rov, o priemyselnej alebo informa\u010dnej revol\u00facii, o n\u00e1rodn\u00fdch \u0161t\u00e1toch, prefabrikovanej pr\u00e1ci, o vykoris\u0165ovan\u00ed spolo\u010densk\u00fdch tried. Cie\u013eom popul\u00e1rnej hist\u00f3rie v\u0161ak neb\u00fdva zladi\u0165 to, \u010do za posledn\u00e9 desa\u0165ro\u010dia preuk\u00e1zate\u013ene vieme o v\u00fdvoji a fungovan\u00ed \u013eudsk\u00fdch spolo\u010dnost\u00ed, ani otvorene prizna\u0165 \u010do o nej nevieme a zrejme ani nikdy nebudeme vedie\u0165. Cie\u013eom je poveda\u0165 pr\u00edbeh, ako v ka\u017edej knihe &#8211; a na tom nie je ni\u010d zl\u00e9. No zdeden\u00fd osvietensk\u00fd pr\u00edbeh podozrivo \u010dasto kon\u010d\u00ed zmieren\u00edm, alebo oslavou hierarchie, organiz\u00e1cie, autority, syst\u00e9mu vl\u00e1dy a kontroly myslenia. Oslavou toho, na \u010do sa dnes s\u0165a\u017eujeme &#8211; nem\u00e1me egalit\u00e1rnu spolo\u010dnos\u0165, nerozumieme slobode a po\u0165a\u017emo zodpovednosti, nem\u00e1me v\u00f4\u013eu k zmene, a nevieme zmysluplne predstavova\u0165 v\u00edzie bud\u00facnosti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">D\u00e1 sa hist\u00f3ria \u013eudstva p\u00edsa\u0165 aj inak? Bez teleologick\u00fdch predpojat\u00ed o tom, \u017ee prostredn\u00edctvom vl\u00e1dy pravidiel a organiz\u00e1cie moci kr\u00e1\u010dame k lep\u0161ej bud\u00facnosti? Za ak\u00fdch okolnost\u00ed k nej naozaj budeme kr\u00e1\u010da\u0165? Ako tak\u00fato bud\u00facnos\u0165 zadefinova\u0165? O \u010dom t\u00e1 bud\u00facnos\u0165 vlastne je? Je to progres, \u010do h\u013ead\u00e1me a \u010do m\u00e1me \u010daka\u0165? A dok\u00e1\u017eeme bud\u00facnos\u0165 kontrolova\u0165 technol\u00f3giou? Alebo je cie\u013eom naopak, celkom jednoducho, rados\u0165 z ka\u017edodennosti, zo \u017eivota v spolo\u010denstv\u00e1ch, sn\u00e1\u010f len na t\u00fdch priemern\u00fdch 70-80 rokov n\u00e1\u0161ho \u017eivota, tu a teraz?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Graeber a Wengrow hovoria, \u017ee sloboda a auton\u00f3mia naozaj je mo\u017en\u00e1, a \u017ee to, navy\u0161e, nie je \u017eiaden vyn\u00e1lez modernity. Posielaj\u00fa tsunami antropol\u00f3gie a archeol\u00f3gie, ktor\u00e1 ukazuje tis\u00edc r\u00f4znych farebn\u00fdch kombin\u00e1ci\u00ed usporiadania spolo\u010densk\u00e9ho \u017eivota od t\u00fdch najstar\u0161\u00edch po s\u00fa\u010dasn\u00e9. A zrete\u013ene tak vyjadruj\u00fa, \u017ee probl\u00e9m, na ktor\u00fd nar\u00e1\u017eame, sa nevol\u00e1 autokracia, diktat\u00fara, dokonca ani demokracia &#8211; vol\u00e1 sa predstavivos\u0165. V\u00f4\u013ea myslie\u0165 a prehodnocova\u0165 z\u00e1kladn\u00e9 ot\u00e1zky. P\u00fdta\u0165 sa, \u010di spolo\u010densk\u00e9 zmeny naozaj potrebuj\u00fa l\u00eddrov. \u010ci sa m\u00e1me len spolieha\u0165, alebo rad\u0161ej akt\u00edvne podie\u013ea\u0165, prehodnocova\u0165 a tvori\u0165.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"eplus-wrapper wp-block-heading\">Kritika kritickej vedy a auton\u00f3mia kona\u0165<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Pre m\u0148a m\u00e1 t\u00e1to kniha jeden ve\u013emi osobn\u00fd rozmer &#8211; kritiku vedy a vedcov. Preto\u017ee spolo\u010densk\u00e9 vedy nemusia a nemali by za ka\u017ed\u00fdch okolnost\u00ed kon\u010di\u0165 cynizmom marxistick\u00e9ho historick\u00e9ho determinizmu. Z dvoch mo\u017enost\u00ed &#8211; a) veci sa stali, preto\u017ee sa museli sta\u0165, alebo b) nikto nevie, \u010do sa udeje &#8211; je zv\u00e4\u010d\u0161a spr\u00e1vna t\u00e1 druh\u00e1. Nie len preto, \u017ee poctiv\u00e1 veda mus\u00ed vo svojich vyhl\u00e1seniach zah\u0155\u0148a\u0165 aj vlastn\u00e9 limity, ale preto, \u017ee sloboda a auton\u00f3mia \u017eivota je v \u013eudsk\u00fdch spolo\u010denstv\u00e1ch naozaj mo\u017en\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Niekde tu je aj moje vlastn\u00e9 pou\u010denie. Kult\u00farna sociol\u00f3gia, tak ako ju \u010d\u00edtam a pracujem s \u0148ou v marketingu, je svojou vlastnou logikou predur\u010den\u00e1 k tomu, aby kult\u00faru videla takmer ako definit\u00edvnu odpove\u010f. Z historick\u00e9ho rob\u00ed kult\u00farny determinizmus ke\u010f hovor\u00ed, \u017ee to kult\u00fara je onou Weberi\u00e1nskou \u017eeleznou klietkou; \u017ee ka\u017ed\u00e1 na\u0161a ot\u00e1zka, odpove\u010f aj interpret\u00e1cia zmyslu mus\u00ed nevyhnutne spadn\u00fa\u0165 do roviny \u017e\u00e1nrov\u00e9ho pr\u00edbehu a archetyp\u00e1lneho predobrazu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">No kde je v nej sloboda a auton\u00f3mia myslie\u0165 a kona\u0165? Kde sa stratila t\u00e1to jedine\u010dn\u00e1 \u013eudsk\u00e1 vlastnos\u0165, schopnos\u0165 vidie\u0165 a predstavova\u0165 si? Kde spl\u00fdva ritu\u00e1lny a imaginat\u00edvny svet a st\u00e1va sa \u017eitou realitou? Odkazujem k rozporuplnej a ve\u013ea diskutovanej &#8222;relat\u00edvnej auton\u00f3mii kult\u00fary&#8220;, t\u00e1 nie je len teoretick\u00fdm vyhl\u00e1sen\u00edm, aby sa kult\u00fara nezamrazila v ust\u00e1len\u00fdch vzorcoch myslenia. Je to aj pr\u00edle\u017eitos\u0165 zva\u017eova\u0165, h\u013eada\u0165 a tvori\u0165 mo\u017enosti, ako m\u00f4\u017ee by\u0165 spolo\u010dnos\u0165 usporiadan\u00e1 lep\u0161ie, ak\u00e9 scen\u00e1re predpovedaj\u00fa ak\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky, \u010do v\u0161etko je mo\u017en\u00e9 a predstavite\u013en\u00e9. A v d\u00f4sledku  toho sa otv\u00e1ra aj mo\u017enos\u0165 auton\u00f3mne zo scen\u00e1rov vybera\u0165, cie\u013eavedome s nimi pracova\u0165.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Okrem mno\u017estva z\u00e1\u017eitkov a poznania, ktor\u00e9 mi kniha The Dawn of Everything dala, si v tejto chv\u00edli najviac v\u00e1\u017eim to, \u017ee mi pomohla oslobodi\u0165 sa od kritickej te\u00f3rie, ktor\u00e1 nedok\u00e1\u017ee vidie\u0165 mo\u017enosti, zrieka sa predstavivosti, ktor\u00fa m\u00e1m tak r\u00e1d. T\u00e1to kniha je pln\u00e1 pozit\u00edvnej a optimistickej soci\u00e1lnej vedy, a s\u00fa v nej zachyten\u00e9 takmer v\u0161etky odtiene anarchizmu, ktor\u00e9 David Graeber za svoj \u017eivot dok\u00e1zal uchopi\u0165. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"eplus-wrapper\">Pr\u00e1ca Davida Graebera ma, spolu s moj\u00edm kolegom Andym Cohehnom, in\u0161pirovala k vytvoreniu <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ideology.sk\/en\/2023\/02\/anarchizmus-modelovat-znacku-cez-komunitu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Anarchist Brand Modelling<\/a>, nov\u00e9mu sp\u00f4sobu pr\u00e1ce so zna\u010dkou. Tento pr\u00edstup je k zna\u010dke ve\u013emi f\u00e9rov\u00fd, no zost\u00e1va optimistick\u00fd.
